Thats some fantastic logic. Counterpoint: No one I talk to has connection issues with the game so its fucking perfect the way it is :)

Thats because the issues arent as widespread as those who experience them think they are.

Also, it disables itself for online play.

Right on!
“Processing power shouldnt be an issue since the rendering doesnt have to be real time.” :) Ingame preview for composing then defer the rendering! I stand by “possible!”

How so? Its the same hardware as a traditional PC, just less of it.

Not necessarily. Could they do it? Sure. Should they? Doubt it. Theres nothing *technically* stopping them except a question of value... And they already got 99% of their console money. Best for last, right?

I was thinking in regards to the cinematic qualities that the consoles are lacking relative to PCs. HD+ resolutions, high level texture filtering, refined shadow/reflection rendering and post processing effects like depth of field are possible but cannot be done realtime due to their processing power.

Processing power shouldnt be an issue since the rendering doesnt have to be real time. Unless you need a mouse/cursor for it, I dont see why not. Even then, the PS4 has some support for that, too.

Ive only use the Sync on my N4. Playback of streams works flawlessly on everything else!

I loved that feature for the gym! I would always have the next episode of a show ready for a 20 or 45 minute elliptical session. However, the Sync is one feature that falls under 'broken' in my book. I havent tried in a few months, but back in October, when it would Sync an episode, many were unplayable regardless of

Plex has a 'Plex Pass' subscription that, among other features, allows its participants to use beta software.

i5 and 560 will work fine on games on at least low/medium @ 1080p for the next three years.
