I’m in CA and not a Catholic. I’ve coached basketball for a decade. At this age, most teams are co-ed. Most rec leagues cannot field enough girls to make a league.

Probably not. I’m in CA. I worked missing persons for several years. Most of my caseload involved female juvies from the largest group home in the county. These social workers are way overburdened and can’t keep up. Some just don’t give a shit.
