I thought Sun/Moon was kind of a butt. I think they hit the peak with X/Y, and I hope they mix it up a little bit for Ultra Sun/Moon.

Stucky or bust.

I thought a guy at work was cute until he started bitching about "PC culture" last week.

100%. I'm looking forward to Ragnarok so much more than any other MCU film of the past few years.

Oh, I imagine she still is.

Basically I want Fury Road level of awesome female characters in like, every movie. I'm really glad to hear such good reviews for WW, going to see it this weekend with my movie pal.

For real. I can't even buy a freaking comic book without putting up with jerks.

I think guys probably get so much representation, that it's like… your quota is filled. I love great action movies too, but it's definitely something special and awesome when there are also rad women on the screen.

We lost my dad in 2013, two months after he turned 60, my step-dad in 2014, a little over a month after he turned 60, my uncle in 2015, 64. Basically my brother is freaking out and eating all the kale.

Ugh, I made the mistake of getting into it with him.

I went to another friend's dad funeral.

I felt that way during Fury Road. We came out of it so amped up, ready to take on the goddamn world and it was like, do bros get this their whole lives? No wonder they have confidence to spare.

Nah, the people in Wall-E had healthcare.

I guess if you haven't had jerks coming up to you, it wouldn't bother you, but yea. Basically half the time my movie bud and I go out, we get one or more men trying to join our conversation, or pick up, or start some "are you even real fans" nonsense.

Sometimes you need support with your own. The quality of my life would be lessened if the women-only spaces were removed from it.

The way I think of it is: If there's an event by and for the black community in the major city I live in, I'm not going to force my way into that. I'd be a spectator, unable to contribute anything, and it's one event, and it means a lot to the people there. So even if it seemed interesting, I can sit out one goddamn

Man, I would love more women-only screenings of movies. Fanboys can be shit.

And all his feelings must be heard. He actually said, while full on pouting, "How come a trans person can say something about trans issues and that's fine, but I say the exact same thing and it's a problem."

I'm not sure this actually counts as pop culture, I've been watching a lot of BBQ Pitmasters lately, getting ready for Ribfest season.

He would've done that bullshit thing guys like him always do, where they give you an exasperated look and go: Come on. You know I didn't mean it that way. I'm not racist/sexist/whatever.
