We'll be marching in Toronto. Your neighbours are extremely concerned.

"Yes, yes, look a little more utterly dead inside."
American Apparel. For that trapped-in-a-psycho's-basement look.

Their business practices are horrifying both from a human and environmental standpoint. Appalling, dangerous sweatshops with a shitty carbon footprint.

I remember rather a bit of outcry.

Taking a shit on the senate floor sounds about right?

Fuck that guy. What drives me nuts (can you tell I've gotten the same talking to), is that if we ask them to not be total fucking pricks, we're being unreasonable. But god forbid they ever be asked to just find a way to work with us.

Her reaction was on par with most women, I think.

Sounds about right.

Here ya go, friend, you can have more than one:
Re: his proposed ban on Muslims entering the states: "Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason

Agree with you on Shrek. It has a litter of shitty sequels and started some unfortunate trends, but it's a solid kid's movie on its own. And the animation was damn fantastic at the time.

One of us

He was openly racist and sexist and they voted for him. Educated or not, a vote for Trump was a vote for someone who campaigned on deporting brown people and building a wall between the states and Mexico.

Have you seen Plague Dogs?

That song is magic and I won't hear words against it.

I watched a short bit on a guy who interviewed a white power group with an ex. It was fucking bizarre. Like the interviewer asked, specifically, what rights he'd lost or what ground he'd thought white people had lost, and he stammered for a bit, and then brought up a local team that was called the Podunk Brown Bears.

I could tell you quite a yarn about it.

I got a new job I love, and things are going really well, personally. But it's like every time someone asks me how things are going, it's hard to say great when it feels like the world is on fire.

I found The Guardian's perception gap quiz really interesting. So many countries are convinced they're surrounded by Muslims when they're really like 2-5% of those populations.

/crosses fingers for First We Take Manhattan

I can't believe A Mighty Wind didn't turn up on either of your lists.
