I really want to read the story on how all of the Egyptians at the end of this movie somehow changed from being all Caucasian. I bet it had something to do with Data’s dad.

You’re also old enough to use the term “boiled sweets”. :-)
I yawn too. My trick is to constantly force myself to yawn before I start to feel any pressure building. If you stay ahead of it, you’ll never have to feel any of the pain.
I’m old enough to remember when they used to hand out boiled sweets on planes because swallowing the saliva generated by sucking the sweets did the job
Especially Neptune. Mars the Bringer of War gets all the love but Neptune is awesomely eerie.
I’m OK with Pluto being classified as a dwarf planet. Pluto went from being the smallest planet to the king of the dwarf planets. You know who else was king of the dwarves? Thorin Oakenshield. That’s right.
Ooh because he included pluto. To be fair, hes just an artist and has no actual say either way.
I wonder if there are shadey for-profit ones like Devry School of Technical Magic or University of Phoenix Owl-Based Distance Education.
It’s easy to fall for stereotypes when you’re thinking about Imperial Japan, especially when the Internet offers…
I am seriously disliking the merger of io9 and Gizmodo more and more.
That is extremely disappointing, though not that surprising given the direction they’ve been going. I’d like to know the reasoning behind that decision.
I was wondering that as well.
Hey side note, are there no more Flash Recaps?
Really? I think it’s hideous. Iron Man looks like he’s straining to take a giant dump, took me like 5 minutes to figure out that was Falcon in the back, Hawkeye was literally copy and pasted from one of the other posters, two of the characters are hidden behind the title, and Bucky just got murdered by War Machine...
Stephen Amell is heading to Legends of Tomorrow, with a twist. Hulk’s journey in Thor: Ragnarok will have…
It doesn’t matter to me either way. I just bring it up as another example of how previously companions came and went and it was no big deal to the Doctor where now he’s so fragile he can’t bear to lose them.
I always hated that poor Martha got stuck with Rose Tyler’s sloppy seconds yet again. The poor woman probably ended up with a hell of a complex after all the comparisons from both the Doctor and Mickey.
I’m going to Gallifrey and you can’t come, get out.
This x1000. At first watch, I didn’t really like her. Second time around I realized I liked her, just not the love story forced on her. So I kind of have a soft spot for her. Still prefer her over Amy (not Rory though) and Clara.
I absolutely HATED the “companion is in love with the Doctor” storylines from the first two modern companions, and it’s the main reason I rank Rose and Martha fairly low on the companion list.
