I really want to read the story on how all of the Egyptians at the end of this movie somehow changed from being all Caucasian. I bet it had something to do with Data’s dad.

Especially Neptune. Mars the Bringer of War gets all the love but Neptune is awesomely eerie.

I’m OK with Pluto being classified as a dwarf planet. Pluto went from being the smallest planet to the king of the dwarf planets. You know who else was king of the dwarves? Thorin Oakenshield. That’s right.

I am seriously disliking the merger of io9 and Gizmodo more and more.

Really? I think it’s hideous. Iron Man looks like he’s straining to take a giant dump, took me like 5 minutes to figure out that was Falcon in the back, Hawkeye was literally copy and pasted from one of the other posters, two of the characters are hidden behind the title, and Bucky just got murdered by War Machine...

It doesn’t matter to me either way. I just bring it up as another example of how previously companions came and went and it was no big deal to the Doctor where now he’s so fragile he can’t bear to lose them.

I always hated that poor Martha got stuck with Rose Tyler’s sloppy seconds yet again. The poor woman probably ended up with a hell of a complex after all the comparisons from both the Doctor and Mickey.

This x1000. At first watch, I didn’t really like her. Second time around I realized I liked her, just not the love story forced on her. So I kind of have a soft spot for her. Still prefer her over Amy (not Rory though) and Clara.

I absolutely HATED the “companion is in love with the Doctor” storylines from the first two modern companions, and it’s the main reason I rank Rose and Martha fairly low on the companion list.
