For what it's worth, I like what there is of LA's rail system (can't vouch for blue and green lines). I've ridden it numerous times. It's just not big enough. But if I want to go downtown, the red line is a good option for avoiding traffic and having to pay stupid high prices for parking after hunting for half an hour…
