Your definition of all time high probably differs with mine. Mine would be where African-Americans had to use separate bathrooms and water-fountains. Or politically when a guy got beat half to death on the Senate floor for denouncing slavery. Have you SEEN that lately?

Except that Britain had spent the previous twenty years ending the African slave trade and that Britain would have likely taken the opportunity to pressure the south to end slavery because it wouldn't have the military or economic might of the north to contend with.

The two best options are
1) Britain intervening in the Trent Affair
2) The fall of Atlanta is avoided and Lincoln loses the 1964 election

It's horrible, but it would be like your chair could consent to you sitting in it. She was mere property.

The planter class was making huge amounts of money off of the institution. But if all of a sudden Britain and France decide that they don't need southern cotton, they'll get it from India and Egypt sans slaves what do you do with the slaves? Chances are you flip to share-cropping or risk facing financial ruin.

That one was a standalone not involved with the others… but probably better than the actual series.

The Raid is a fun movie, but I just don't think it did anything as good as Dredd. I enjoyed the lead better as well as the atmosphere in Dredd.

The Raid won't win out over Dredd.

Even more odd is that it's widely considered to be a 2007 release.

She wasn't miscast, but she was written poorly. She's totally ambivalent about the Rebellion until the plot requires her not to be. It makes it hard to care about her character. Contrast that to Kassian, who is more subdues and has a better character arc and you can see why she failed to connect.

If there was ever an episode that deserved a full length movie it was this one.

Yields will increase, the amount of arable land won't. If Canadian summers get 2-3 weeks longer yields could go up anywhere from 40-100%. It won't offset the area being lost, but it isn't bad if you're a Canadian.

There's almost no chance we run out of coal. There's centuries worth of coal that we know about right now, and that's in a world where almost nobody bothers to look for it because of its unprofitability. We could theoretically run out of oil, but it won't be in anyone who posts on this sites lifetime… and even if we

I think it's fairly clear that he doesn't treat that the criminals the same as everyone else. He's very clearly frightened of Bats.

I was born in '86 and my sister '94. I somewhat felt like a milennial but her worldwide and experiences so vastly different from mine considering we attended the same school and grew up in the same household that we were obviously from different generations.

I think most people did.
