Isn't that what Chevy did for their Corvette Nürburgring run? They just mounted unrealistically sticky tires that no sensible person would put on their car for reasons such as how quickly the tire would degrade and such. At least that was my understanding. I could be wrong here.

Calling someone who is fat, 'fat', is much different than calling someone with a burn scar, 'ugly'. I think a better comparison would be if you were to call someone with a burn scar, 'the person with the burn scar.'
