I’ve been playing since the first beta wave and it’s actually been pretty common the entire time. It happens a lot on one map in particular (I’m terrible with their name, it’s the city one with buses in the streets that has a control point and then a defend the car objective.) There is a room that you can go in to

Pigmen

Do you think this might have something to do with their Activision relationship? I like Blizzard, though I do not get excited about their games like I used to. I haven’t decided if that is changes in me or in Blizzard but there is a definite change in my excitement level.

Hot take:

Yes. This. Thank you for getting it. A lot of people seem determined to miss the point (and a number of the details) of this article. I am also dismayed at some of the pretty nakedly classist comments this article is getting.

I’m not saying there’s no toxicity, but Heroes is FAR more friendly than LoL or Dota2.

Now playing

None of this is as awe-inspiring as Asmodunk

I don’t understand how anyone affords children, and I don’t plan on having any because of that.

Car ownership is a little lower in Manhattan, but in Brooklyn and Queens almost everybody has a car. In a city that supposedly doesn’t have cars, there are quite a few cars! The highways in NYC always have pretty bad traffic. I was born and raised there before I moved out west at the age of 21.

Gas won’t be cheap for ever. It will go up again. Companies are looking to the future and developing their technology while their sales are doing really well and they can afford it. What more can you hope for?

Batteries not included?

I am a PC gamer for 20 years now. I have exclusively gamed on a PC, with the occasional dabble of console gaming on friends consoles, mostly now with the PS4.

If you’re pissing people off with your journalism, then you’re doing your job. Ruffling feathers, even if you’re entertainment reporters, is par for the course. Don’t stop doing it just because a couple publishers are a wee bit on the childish side of things.

But he takes away their chestnuts....

So true. I can sit down and watch these and his remotes and never stop laughing. Especially his older remotes, which are all on youtube, like over a hundred of them. He was even better when he was younger and had more of a “troublemaker” persona instead of the creepy older man persona he has right now, even though

If you can’t laugh about some of the more absurd aspects of your hobby, you take your hobby TOO FUCKING SERIOUSLY.

The thing I really like about these videos is that they really show off what Conan does best comedically. He’s great as a talk show host, but Conan is at his very best when he’s making jokes off the cuff. He’s got a great sense of comedic timing and an amazing improviser. These are just like his on the street

My experience with HoTS was mostly that I had no idea whether or not a given game was winnable at any given moment (partially due to inexperience and partially due to the design decisions—games can turn around very quickly because of how important objectives are).
