James Brolin would make an interesting Thanos. I'm pretty sure his son beat him out for the part, though. Dammit, maybe they should have gotten a much older guy to play Thanos now that you mention it. They definitely need to work on the design before he shows up again.

He's done so much mo-cap at this point that there's already a massive library of his motion that anyone could use for pretty much anything should he meet with an untimely demise. His interpretation of "little girl playing hopscotch" will someday become the Wilhelm Scream of motion capture.

Given the sheer number of motion capture roles that Andy Serkis does, I'm a little worried about the industry collapsing if anything ever happens to him. They really should get a backup motion capture actor just in case.

I remember spending hours at work trying to download a working bootleg copy of the Phantom Menace trailer on the day it came out. It still one of my favorite trailers ever. In retrospect, I had a bad feeling about Jar Jar even then, even though I like ep 1 a lot more than most.
