The fact that it lost audience isn't really an indicator of
anything. Dexter still had a loving audience even after going into full shitmode. People who comment here, or on Reddit, generally have better taste, and better understanding of writing and plot, than the casual viewer.

The reviews focus on all the main characters.

That's not true. Viola Davis has always been praised for her performance on the show.

Hers is indeed the best acting in this show.

The reviews are ridiculous because they don't agree with you, I'm guessing.

Yes, it's the character relevance and the acting. It's not really my fault if the writers put more effort in fleshing out Frank than they did with Wes.

Dude, he can be a hell of a Shakespearian actor, he simply was miscast for this show. You're seeing this through race goggles.

Except they're not. If you also think, like our friend above, that Wes is better written than the characters of Mad Men, I really don't know what to tell you, except you both have no knowledge of narration, character development, or simply have no idea what good writing is.

No. Also because there's no character called Jack.

They said it would be corny if Wes' death was faked. And they're right. If you think Wes faking his death would be a wise plot development, I'm sorry, but it really is not.

"You don't like the character that I like, and I don't have any arguments, so you must be racist". What are you, 15? That's so fucking stupid it doesn't deserve a rebuttal.
Also, did you miss all the past reviews where 90% of commenters disliked Rebecca and Wes' acting? They were probably all racist, for you,

Wes was a useless, badly written character who was also terribly, terribly acted. He always had the same face. He serves the purpose of advancing the plot in Season 1 because he meets Rebecca and starts the whole thing, but then they turn into a horrible couple with zero chemistry.
After Rebecca is dead, Wes becomes a

I have very important stuff to say.

So hot and so evil

I was expecting the body to be there lying on the bed, for some reason.

She did do a ton of other stuff, such as, you know, framing Nate and destroying his reputation, framing Catherine for shooting her, etc.

It's not because "she said something he didn't like", it's because she caused his father's suicide, AFTER she had promised to leave his dad out of it. The things she said were only the last drop.
I agree that it's worse than everything the other kids did, but it's not worse than what Frank did. Frank killed Lila in

>Asher is 2nd degree murder

Also, I still can't understand why Sam tried to choke Rebecca. It doesn't make any sense, there were 5 more people in that room. What was he thinking? He could've, you know, called the police and they would've gone to jail for attempted murder.

That was Mary J. Blige? She did look familiar.
