Mark Strong. Every day.”

i always appreciate a “this person is nice in the wild” story.

Her mother is delightful. Her niece (Samantha’s daughter who was raised by her maternal grandmother because of abuse) seems great also.

I’ve read several articles and essays by Brooke in various magazines over the years, and was always impressed by her intelligence and worldliness, balanced by a relatable, down-to-earth, grounded quality. I find her very likable. Looking forward to the Hulu doc.

I’ve actually met her mother. She works at a hospital with a close friend of mine, and came to my friend’s house for a Hannukah party. She’s very nice and very low key. My friend didn’t tell me who she was until after the party because she really doesn’t like the attention.

I have 18 cousins on my mom’s side. The eldest one is 30 years older than me, and the youngest one before me is 12 years older than me. It’s a combination of large age gaps and my parents not making the effort to stay connected to extended family.

I seriously do not get all the Megan hate. She seems lovely and was raised by a great mom in a nurturing community.

Samantha is a schnorrer, constantly grifting Megan’s situation. I’d be curious to know how much the Daily Mail has paid her in the last few years.

My Mom considers herself an only child even though she also has a much older half-brother from a shared father. Her half-brother was 13-14 when she was born, and he left when she was 3. He never stayed in touch with the family and he is a total stranger to her. I do not believe they ever met again after she was 3

I think her mom is good. But yeah, everyone else sounds pretty awful.

Maybe he threw a cork in there to distract from...

To be a tiny bit fair, Spring 2020 was EXACTLY the wrong time to launch an enterprise targeting the on-the-go, in-transit, not-quarantined audience.

It’s no surprise to me, I am my own worst enemy
‘Cause every now and then, I quit my job and join Quibi

I wonder if the source for that Sun piece was Witherspoon’s publicist.  Lots of backhanded compliments and remarks about him in that one - “Jim’s a nice guy who will co-parent, but he had a mid-life crisis and wants to go off and be a weird tech guy with tattoos while Reese is all Warrior Mom and serious business”.

That’s pretty much why I stopped visiting regularly.

I unironically love him. Partly because of that exact reason. Say what you will about the man he always COMMITS to whatever he’s doing.
Also, it’s Nic not Nick

This is the appropriate age group for this drama. Not the mid-20 to early 30 drama that is going on with all the Bieber bullshit.

Drew Barrymore was a pretty darn good film producer for a while. I hope she makes more time for that.

I am feeling anxiety by Glen Powell’s lack of undershirt. undershirts are the real sexiness

It’s awesome that it worked out for these specific celebrities, but it does get harder/less likely/you are more at risk of complications to both you and your child as you get older. I have friends who have put tremendous amounts of money and heartache into trying to get pregnant in their 40s, not to mention wear and

I am very happy for Swank and all older moms but as the daughter of an older mother (39 when she had me) and as an actual older mother myself (39 when I had my son) there are some very real downsides to having kids later in life. The 2 that I can personally testify to are A) being utterly fucking exhausted all the
