Yes, agreed, it absolutely would have changed the game! The tone would have been completely different; not necessarily in a bad way, just different. I don’t know if it would have achieved the same level of success; I don’t know if the world would have been ready for a black “superhero” of that sort. We shall see next

Indeed he did, at least that is what I’ve always heard; and it was later referenced again, because his wife, Jada, starred in Reloaded and Revolutions. It must have been frustrating or at least a wee bit annoying to have such a reminder always at his side... Jet Li turned down the role of Seraph to do The One. No

If I might add; hell yeah, I bet he regrets and hates it, he turned down the role of Neo in the Matrix to do it; and I will be forever grateful for his sacrifice!

True, true! It has been so long since I’ve read the books! I thought they got quite a few things right as far as I can remember; but, you are correct, I never imagined a sexy Hobbit/ Dwarf (I think I started it) either!

When the story is told from their point of view and you’re all in, it is a bit disconcerting when you are reminded that, yes, indeed, they are Hobbits/Dwarfs; some quite attractive, yes, and clever and resourceful too... I’m not that tall myself, so maybe I could better relate. ; )

I don’t know about Aidan as Bond, and I was hoping for Idris as well; however, I was prepared to accept Loki as Bond, until, he started dating Ms. Thing. To me, it is a complete turn-off. I’ll have to work to separate the two. His stock has since gone down in my book — too bad, so sad. He, he he...

Yep.

Loved him in being human; and he was, after all the best looking hobbit!

Exactly.

I just got the chills all over...

“What would it be like to read the Quran assuming the immediacy of God speaking to us today? What would it be like to read the Quran through a personal lens? This would be a reading that doesn’t discount lived experiences or the interplay of culture and context, and acknowledges the way certain verses are used in

“Most Christians...”

Why?

Oh my god, I totally forgot about Ridley Scott’s “Legend” w/ Tim Curry, before he fixed his teeth. I actually still have a fondness for that one— awesome. Curious, I wonder if that was pre-Scientology?

He he... there used to be this website, TomCruiseisNuts, it began around the Tom and Katie affair, very entertaining for a time. The author hoped someone else would pick up the mantle, but last I checked, no one ever did. Perhaps that was for the best. : )

This too shall pass...

Certainly, James Bond can do better than this; therefore, he is no James Bond, which is just fine with me. He blew it.

Again, let us hope.

Unless you’re Taylor Swift. He he he...

You would think so!
