There are two wonderful things happening here in this story:
I also tore during childbirth and they definitely didn't do a great job stitching me up. I also nursed for 2 1/2 years and there was no way we could even attempt sex during that time without a LOT of lube. I had no idea nursing would cause (or in my case exacerbate) the dryness.
Heterosexuals in America aren't allowed to do that. I think it's the first or second line in the Jezebel manual for acceptable sexual congress.
Yes exactly! Not to get too weird or TMI (too late I suppose) but to even have sex I need to be completely focused on my breathing and on getting my pelvic floor muscles to relax, it's painful and stressful. I could absolutely be celibate if I was single, you are spot on that it's a lot of work. This is why I will…
Being married to someone with a vastly different sex drive can be extremely difficult. In my case, my husband has a normal sex drive and mine has been completely destroyed by anti-depressant use. It's just... gone... and switching meds never brought it back. In addition I have vaginismus so sex is also painful…
Thing is that Solas couldn't paint that one - he's left Inquisition right after defeating Corypheus and I'm pretty sure he didn't sneak into the castle to paint this.
Not to mention that it's in a completely different style - it's more of a inept sketch than anything else, probably added by somebody who wanted to see…
I'm an American living in London, and I am constantly amused (and dismayed) by the complete lack of knowledge by Europeans on what health care actually costs. When I tell them how much my uninsured hospital bills and Rx costs were back in the States, I always get the same slack-jawed, stunned look.
When I lived in England, I got terribly sick and had to go to the ER. When we got there, I waited 10 mins and was seen by a doctor. They did three tests, gave me a prescription and then I was allowed to leave. I never received a bill, and everything was covered - which is the exact opposite of what would happen had I…
i think a lot of americans genuinely don't know or understand how insurance works in most of europe. or they don't believe it's that good.
Corypheus refers to a tattooed Dalish Inquisitor as having "slave tattooes" also
The game designers took into account that current gamers would probably search the net for answers, so having every clue spoonfeed in the game is not as important. By the way, what an awesome article Patricia, I was looking for answers about "WTF I've just seen!" and I got all the answers I wanted on a single article,…
Yes, I saw that mural, too. Then, I was left wondering when he poofed in to even do that? =/ Anyway, it did make me a bit more leaning toward him absorbing her and not the other way around; I figure both of their souls are in there now, but Flemeth put something in the eluvian before he showed up, so maybe another one…
I love this theory, because it's the ultimate expression of chance. A consistent theme in these games seems to be unpredictable consequences, and if Solas really did free the people, only to have them fall? It's an excellent expression of that theme.
Apparently you've never heard of subtlety? There isn't anything 'typical of AAA' or lazy going on here. It's not even an uncommon thing to leave mysteries that fans scour lore to figure out. This IS a sign of skill. What you're asking for is to be spoon fed and that's worse. The entire article points out examples that…
(mild spoiler warning) Also something that isn't mentioned above is the nature of the Solas romance itself. Where as the other romances end with a boot scene, the relationship with Solas ends with him wanting to remove your facial tattoo, telling you that it is the mark of a slave. Where the other companions offer you…
Normally, I'd agree....but this is the epilogue. Usually, stuff like that—the thing you see after the credits roll, in, say, a movie—usually only makes sense to the most hardcore of fans. That's usually my experience with Marvel movies as someone who has a very cursory knowledge of Marvel lore, for example. So judging…
Hello this is the maker of the Elvish translation video. I would like to explain why I chose "rebel" instead of "traitor". I came across a small codex entry explaining that "Herralan" did not exist until after the fall of the elves. It is possible that Solas was called Herralin, or "hellathen". Which would make…
Take a look at the incomplete part of the mural found in the room where Solas once hung out - it looks very much like a wolf snarling above a dragon impaled by a sword (the body of the dragon is stretched out with the wings held straight up...I thought it looked like a leg and a foot at first but that made no sense).
Never expect accuracy when looking to the gaurdian for "facts".
