The funny thing is that in Europe a lot of people can't drive automatics (you can't know how fast a vehicle stops until someone uses the mistakes the break pedal for the clutch). I have an automatic C-class and a manual Audi A3, sometimes when I need somebody to move my automatic car they say "nah man, that's an

Can't tell if trolling, or time traveler...

1. If a computer is available don't use your phone. 2. If you don't have a computer nearby but you can use at least one hand than just google it on the phone. 3. If you don't have a computer and you don't have a free hand than: a) is it that urgent ? you sure you can't wait till you get to a place where you can

Wow, you mean you can't change your default browser on iOS without jailbreaking ? Just... Wow... (shake my head)

I've had Nokia 6600 (One of the first phones with symbian 6.0) - it was called "smartphone" back than, Nokia E50 - small elegant beast with putty on it (ssh ftw), than switched board to the dumber (yet beautifull) Sony Ericsson K810 (man that phone had good camera), and than for a short period of time: Nokia N95 (the

Nope, I admit I don't NEED any more stuff... But damn I WANT a lot of cool stuff (I was one of the first to get a raspberry pi... haven't done anything useful with it but I love gadgets), now I'm trying to get a Nexus7 but freakin google play store will only ship to 4 countries (US, Canada, Australia and UK)

Rubbish ! I was a smoker, and altough nicotine dependency is real, the addiction is way deeper than just nicotine adiction. I quit for more than 2 years but I still miss playing with my cig than lighting it up when I'm having a beer... there is no freakin vaccine that would take that feeling away from me, yeah, I

Well there are two problems with this method:

Voice commands are idiotic. Of course they work in Star Treck, because "computer, engage" is way more effective in a show than showing some guy swiping, swiftkeying or pinch-to-zooming on a glass... or you know... just use a keyboard or mouse.

I think technology reached a point where 99.9% of what a normal person NEEDS is already solved by existing products. We don't NEED any new stuff... So they have to make stuff that we don't need but we might WANT. What do we want ? They probably have no ideea, so they're just shooting out ideas and see what catches on.

I don't really get automatic watches, of course they have beautiful engineering and styling but they are less acurate than a 10$ quartz clock. But I would never trade away my radio controlled Casio G-shock for the clock on my phone. I have it on my wrist (no need to take my phone out of my pocket), it can't be off by

That's just like instagram on Android... it doesn't sound right ! :)

I use iGO MyWay (hugely popular in Europe, most gps navigation devices are based on it). The maps are very acurate (and upgradeable with speedcamera locations, POIs, etc), the turn by turn navigation is also very good. The only problem is it doesn't support high resolution (in my galaxy nexus it doesn't go full

NOBODY, can guess what I'm gonna do next with my phone !

I hated calligraphy since school, and my handwriting was always a mess. Even before I had my first computer I loved my father's typewriter and totally hated hand writing [sarcasm]what ? are we supposed to write with our own hands like some goddamn animals ?[/sarcasm]. If you like calligraphy it's OK, you should be

No quad-core support in 2012 ? 720p max resolution ? WHY ? Why aren't they doing something amazing in the phone area as (I hope they will be doing) in the tablet area (damn I want that Surface with IvyBridge badly). I wouldn't be impressed by these features a year ago...

Linux is "work in progress" since forever. If you can deal with it it's an almost decent OS for 0$. But you can't do Office work (OK, you might call Libre Office an alternative to Microsoft Office but that's like comparing Symbian 6.0 to ICS 4.0.4... they are both mobile OSes... ), can't do photo editing (GIMP please

I used ubuntu/linux mint/kubuntu for the past year and on every distribution chrome and chromium seemed faster (altough I admit that chrome on linux is a lot worse than chrome on windows...). But the main reason for ditching firefox completely on linux was flash (not really firefox's problem but the fact that chrome

I really really want Nokia&Microsoft to succeed into making a third competitor in the smartphone market. Though I don't think I would trade my galaxy nexus for any nokia/wp with a 41 mpx camera it's a move in the right direction, add this, a great user interface, apps, smart glass, sync with chrome, and I might
