Never mind the fact that you’re less likely to have a dishwasher if you’re poor. I couldn’t afford an apartment with one in grad school, and I still don’t have one. Which is not insurmountable to handle for me and my gf, but can often be the most time-intensive part of cooking.

I thought in DC “bike lane” was just code for “loading zone.” That’s how all the cars I see use them anyway. Uber drivers are especially bad about this. Anyway, not sure how a bike lane helps on that road, but I’ve never ridden it at a busy time I guess.
