I mean I can’t blame them for this not making it into urgent category in the priority list.

So just to be sure what the supposed reason to be grossed out here is:
1 - The actual fact that they look like prepubescent girls? 
2 - That they are made to act in way that doesn’t correspond to their stated age? (which should make them intellectually vastly superior to all the other characters)
3 - Just the fact that…
