@exion: "shallow blabbering"?! Have you ever listened to a presentation by this guy?! Its usually a good idea to think about what point the guy's making before getting defensive. =P

It does look a little flat and plain in comparison, but I still think it'll be jsut as enjoyable. The thing I find with games is without the direct comparison right there I dont tend to notice the difference. If I'm immersed in a game it really doesnt matter if it's not looking quite as good as it should.

I vaguely remember hearing that EA were looking to branch out into other forms of media, but I didnt expect 2 comic series and an animated movie already!

Thats kinda cool... if it's free! The're really pushing the whole thing of spore being a franchise and not just a game, I wasnt expecting so much so soon!
