I am also surprised by this. Gangsta would have been my vote as well. No comment on the direction the plot has taken.

Out of all the shows I follow this is the one that I constantly watch the OP to rather then skipping it.

Gangsta easily has one of the most unique and memorable OPs (and EDs) in years. Gangsta is also very much a show meant to appeal to Western sensibilities.

The voting was on a Japanese site, hence it is more likely that what is what I think is one of the best for the season simply is too alien for the average Japanese anime-fan.

I thought so too... I really looked forward to that game. But I checked their twitter account and it seems they’re still actively developing the game.
