Thats some sweet Kotaku fish action right there.

Big M8 loomed over the racetrack, daring anyone to speed under caution. The drivers minded their speed. They knew that Big M8 was slow to anger, but implacable and terrible in it’s zeal for racetrack safety.

I like the Peterbilt 320 cabover my employer started using last year. They’re side loaders, which has saved the knees of every former rear load driver on our crew, including my own. The only issues we’ve had are the durability of the arm assemblies. Those McNeilus ZR units are constantly losing integral bolts and

Hope they have some ideas on improving this.

“At the end of the day we’re all gonna’ die and someone has to deal with it.”

I actually volunteer at an antique radio and electronics museum and its getting to a point where we’re being buried in donations that are coming almost exclusively from estates of hoarders who have passed away. As in sometimes over 1,000 items. We try to fix the stuff up and sell but often we also have to try and give

Found an old pic.  Still miss it

The 1991 e34M5 still remains my favorite car I’ve ever owned. The 993 is a close second, but if I could only have one car, the e34 M5 would be it. This is in the company of 996, 993, 911 3.2, 356, e46M3, Audi S8, VW GTI, and some other not as interesting cars.

Old doesn’t necessarily mean rare or collectible, so prices can often be quite reasonable. Sometimes people will give away vehicles just to be rid of the damn things and/or to reclaim some space.

So cool that BMW integrated an Oreo dispenser right there in the middle!

Hoarder

Its another example of hoarding. I see this a lot in my own hobby ( vintage radios and electronics) where the “collector” will almost bury themselves alive in the stuff and with such vast quantities that they can’t even really get near or actually enjoy what they have. Most of these cars look like they’ve been sitting

Have you ever seen belts that click on the outboard sides of the seats? Neat, right?

But amazingly capable for its size

That’s a child though...

All I want for Christmas is a BPR Global GT revival

Reliability and racing are polar opposites. Even if their vehicles dont make it 50% of the race, no customer is going to say “man, I was going to get a Lambo for my rap video but since it only made it 12 hours during the Le Mans I dont think its a very good car....”

If VAG is going to throw it’s hat in the ring, I’d like to see a Bugatti hurtling down Mulsanne Straight....

Just staking a claim for when the Ranger Splash shows up and gets all the attention from the ladies.

I think the worst part about being a car nerd is reaching that point where you know too much. It really takes all the fun out of it.

“Ohh, wagon with LT1! But...Optispark...”
