Not in that Apache, he didn’t!!

I have bought five cars, all used, some very old and one would never think of getting a warranty. I still have three of those cars; only one, the 2002 Corvette, ever had anything fail within any reasonable time since I bought it. It’s transmission broke suddenly, severl months after I bought it. Apparently relatively

Do they list labor costs?

Yes - nothing in the US is nearly as good as anywhere, especially Europe.

I am waiting with bated breath........

What’s the “ball valve?”

I remember when they were not required.

But did YOU know it?

I agree with you, based on the limited amount I have helped a friend work on his ca. 2007 coupe. I was amazed how well-designed it is to be maintained. Doubly amazed after reading about all the trouble and expense people complain about on these cars.

You sure buy an awful lot of cars.....do you keep them all?

Hmmm...Steve Lehto - can YOU make a convincing “Doink-Doink” noise?

I would expect to pay small 100s of dollars for a thorough inspection.

I was going to say the same thing. Why would ANYONE believe someone who is trying to sell something, when the seller tells him, “It’s in perfect condition.”

You’ve already asked him, and he’s said “no?”

Do dealerships and the independent shops you use accept these warranties?

Any part on any car can break, with or without warning.

Yes, but your regular warranty will already take care of that.

That is the kind of thinking that more people need to use.

Always do the deed yourself, without accomplices, if you possibly can.

Is that you, bill?
