I read the novel and loved it! Was a bit sad that the Australian charm was gone (didn't like Chloe turning from a sweet little girl who yells "oh calamity!" to an obnoxious one who says motherfucker), but I enjoyed this episode a lot. The fact that Reese and Nicole are in it helps immensely.

Ugh, they're such cartoon villains. I'm surprised they don't maniacally laugh after each evil scheme.

I don't even get why jake would do it considering he didn't even want to be VP

Ever since Flynn resigned, I've been daydreaming of Trump being impeached and going to prison and it's been bringing me so much joy.

They were mean to poor Trumpie's feelings, so that.

I really don't get how Shonda can be so in love with B613 yet put no effort into giving it any real logic or stakes, or at the very least making it interesting.

I really enjoyed the book so I'm looking forward to this.

I haven't watched yet, but was Tom not behind the shooting at all? Or it was just someone else who ordered him to do it? Because we already knew it wasn't Cyrus.

I'm like a season behind and am catching up right now, but do we actually ever find out what B6-13 does? Or just more "protecting the republic" vague nonsense?

She has had some funny comedic supporting roles, and was actually really charming in How To Be Single.

Sounds interesting but I'll probably never watch it. Even reading about it made me sad.

I hate this fucking cretin. Can someone just get rid of her and her shit head boss already?

It was fine, but The Last Five Years did it better, and I wish we gave Emma Stone's Oscar to Anna Kendrick.

Some people just don't like the fucking movie. Enough.

I wish I had some deep reason for disliking La La Land, but at the end of the day, I was just kinda bored.

I think she bit just the right amount.

I think my problem is more with the Obama thing then the Hillary thing. I definitely know that a lot of liberals hated Hillary so much they fucked themselves over, but the "Obama voter who voted for Trump because of the economy" just seems like a myth by people who can't understand why someone would vote for both.

The Israel idea is a good one. A lot of left leaning Jews sometimes go insane for pro Israel politicians, no matter how right wing and nuts they otherwise may be.

Great episode, but I'm not sure I buy Lucy being a Trump voter. She seems like a typical liberal, and her anecdote definitely played into the myth of the reluctant trump voter who only voted because of the economy. It was definitely interesting, though.

La La Land left me underwhelmed. Anyone else?
