Ugh
Ugh
Agreed on this episodes uselessness and the fact that it wasn't funny besides for Ariana Grande's scene. I'm watching this show because for whatever reason I'm curious to find out who the killer is, even though the show will fuck that up. Do you think this show will get a season 2 considering Fox's recent ratings…
Matt Bomer but also anyone who's banging Matt Bomer
no
What does executive produce even mean? What involvement do they actually have with the show? Serious question.
I would just like to note that's he's the executive producer not the creator. It'll probably still suck though.
I'm so happy for you.
I just watched it. I don't know, I kind of love it? Yes it's absolutely moronic and absurd, but I laugh all the time and that's good enough for me.
This show is hot garbage but I love Ryan Murphy shows for their tranwreck appeal and flashes of brilliance. I will watch this show until it finally ends 10 years later.
Is there really a ick factor when Rob Lowe looks like Rob Lowe?
He got a nomination for talking in a creepy voice and wearing a prosthetic nose. I could've done that and been nominated!
Some people don't identify with any particular gender.
Everyone's been going crazy for Billie Lourd but I thought she was terrible. I also didn't find the frat scene that funny.
Ya, I thought it was awful as well besides for a few scenes with Coney, Dean Munch, and Denise.
I agree, he wanted to make us laugh at his character's race/sex/orientation/looks and then try to make us feel bad for doing so. He's the type of dick who will make a Britney Spears tribute episode that mocks her for her mental illness, and then try to spin it as a bullshit empowerment tale. He's gross.
My post was basically signalling that "best Ryan Murphy show" isn't a high bar to clear, even though I love Popular a lot
Or if he were good at it.
Glee wanted to be an uplifting drama as well as a parody of uplifting dramas. It succeeded at neither.
No one ever criticized Finn for forcibly outing her, though. He was thanked for "being a good friend".
Ryan Murphy is awful at creating compelling characters or coherent story lines. However, he is pretty good at funny one liners and crazy moments. If he focuses on that, there's no reason this can't be his best show yet.
