Watched Still Alice and Theory Of Everything!

Good. She was absolutely fantastic in this movie, and I hope she wins an Oscar for it next year.

How would you guys rank all the season of Glee?
Here's mine:
1) Season 1 (obviously the best and most consistent season, where it seemed like Glee was destined for greatness)
2) Season 3 ( Yes, this has the horrid "Choke" "On my way" and that godawful Christmas special, but the two part finale is the my favorite episode

This was always gonna be a shit sandwich but yay Dakota Johnson comes out unscathed!

I thought all cable shows were filmed in their entirety before the season aired.

What does that even mean? He would still shoot himself but then do an interview with James Lipton? What

Didn't you hear? That article was just his test run for his new film at Sundance, which will deal with him struggling to write a book while mumbling inarticulately and being a self absorbed ass.

He insulted the commenting community? Where? And I'm sure that has something to do with it, in addition to what just seems like general fatigue from all these years of writing.

What's your favorite performance of hers? In general and recent.

Definitely. The oscars have a very big problem with looking outside of their group of favorite actors. While I'm not entirely certain she needed to be nominated for Julie and Julia, I'd still rather her win over bullock.

I see your point, but I also feel that she takes over the top characters and gives them a sense of humanity. I loved her in into the woods, Julie and Julia, the Iron Lady, and doubt. They're her best performances of this century.

I can't take Rabin seriously since his weird quest to destroy 30 rock.

I've been watching some Meryl Streep films this week, and I must say I don't get the backlash against her. She fully commits herself to each role, and she gives performances no one else could. I guess her love for accents and outsized characters gave her a reputation as a ham, but I think she's marvellous.

Can someone please explain what psychological underpinnings means? Is the review saying that all of the character's reactions should be specific to their personalities, instead of being over the top? That's what I understood. (English is not my first language).

Re watching happy endings makes me realize how dire this show is. You can't have a hang out sitcom if you don't actually like the characters!

What do you guys consider the last great season? Mine is 11.

Overly generic movies anger me more than offensive ones.

Mila Kunis was great in black swan, forgetting Sarah Marshall, and friends with benefits. Oz wasn't a good movie in general.

This looks bad but I want to have sex with both leads

As utterly ridiculous and moronic as this episode was, I kinda loved it. It was just so over the top that it was hilarious. I laughed a lot, even while acknowledging that it was dumb.
