Seems weird they didn’t ditch the ugly design of the regular PS5.

You gotta respect that she’s just throwing gas on this burning trash-heap at this point. I know it’s all about short term money, but the smart move would be for WB to just walk away from the superhero thing for a decade and focus on a bunch of master and commander, weird west, sci-fiction, fantasy, etc... trilogies.
I hope Bobby’s rising through the ranks of meat-quality inspectors.
Bobby would be nearly Hanks age
Murphy’s Luanne voice was one of the all-time great performances. I have no idea how she maintained that high-pitched warbling (while also infusing some real emotion) and can’t imagine anyone replicating it. The first time I saw an episode with Lucky I was like “hang on...is that Tom fucking Petty??” Love that they…
Dale Gribble would never vote for Trump and I’m sick of people online saying he would.
Not for political reasons. Dale doesn’t vote. The government having access to his address? Get the fuck outta here.
The fact that he thought he was so smart and ahead of everyone but didn’t recognize Joseph was John Redcorn’s son captured the character perfectly.
I could see it without Murphy and Tom Petty but no Dale? Naaaaah no point.
I’m fine with the Hulu revival not going ahead. It wouldn’t be the same show with Johnny Hardwick and Brittney Murphy. King of the Hill was a show that captured a very specific era of American life in the late 90s. It doesn’t really work outside of that context. In the 2020s Hank and Peggy are closer to Cotton’s age…
I had no idea they were doing a live-action How to Train Your Dragon remake.
“If a 127-year-old brewery couldn’t make it work, imagine the challenge ahead for the rest of them.”
It’s Sapporo’s fault. It’s the same reason Brooklyn Brewery is in decline because Kirin bought them out. It’s all about sales, not about quality.
Good. I hope this is the start of an industry-wide movement that leads to better working conditions for all VFX artists.
The show’s production is currently halted in solidarity with the writers’ strike.
Maybe you should unionize then?
there are two things preventing me from using threads: that you can’t use it from a browser and meta’s apparent unwillingness to follow european regulations.
I actually think Robbie might have enough integrity to turn down a shitty sequel. Her career hasn’t even peaked yet, she’s in high demand, and if she really just wanted to cash in on something, she’s still got an empty roster slot over at Marvel.
Was the problem really “regime changes” and “philosophical differences,” or just that the first one “wasn’t very good” and “didn’t make a lot of money?”
Just curious—do you just not like/actively hate musicals (which is of course totally fine if you do)?
Like, I’ve been in musicals and watched several, and they’re by no means my favorite thing, but knowing how they work and are structured, like it or not, it does succeed in terms of being a legit musical. Whether…
“So, great news - for Q2 we’re up $100 million because we haven’t had to pay anyone!”
