That’s a terrible idea.

Anytime the cops plant evidence, real or fake, is automatic reasonable doubt. If they cannot win properly on a slamdunk case then they deserve a not guilty verdict.

The prosecutor will explain reasonable doubt one way, the defense attorney will explain reasonable doubt another way. As a former public defender, I never stuck to a single way to explain it. That being said, there is no way I would not find Cosby guilty.

I wonder if jurors are caught up on the situational versus dispositional divide issue. Often when people are confronted with something horrible happening to other people they will conceive of reasons that the horrible thing would not happen to them.
