What I loved was how basic Valencia’s piano playing was. I have no idea how well Gabrielle Ruiz plays piano, but it’s hilarious to me that Valencia is doing that inspirational fight song with Chopsticks-level skills.

I love that many of the characters in my favourite shows that struggle with mental health and addiction issues are shown getting help and trying to better themselves.

I’m a psychologist who specializes in treating BPD, and this is one of the best fictional portrayals of the disorder that I’ve ever seen. The language used to describe the diagnosis was even in line with DBT, one of the most effective treatments for the disorder. Really impressed!

I imagine she’d fight the mirror, like one of the lesser parakeets.

The irony of someone who has made a career out of shouting inaccuracies written by other, richer people into a camera in a quiet room telling anyone that “Shouting doesn’t make you right” is funny, but I’m not sure what that says about their self-awareness.

My plan is to have a new Zombo story every week. Hopefully better than the show that follows it.

Soylent Green’s The Walking Dead Stray Observations: Guess Who The Newest Disgraced Celebrity Will Be (It’s Carrot Top) Edition

Watch The Carmichael Show!

I wanted to write this comment, then you wrote it and now what am I supposed to do?

What was Wenger thinking? Sending Walcott on that early?

did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Bar keep: Going to watch the match this afternoon?

Depression but not anxiety here, and I constantly say I want to sleep for twenty years. The only other fictional depiction I remember nailing it is one of my favorite lines from Cemetery Man/Dellamorte Dellamore “Everything’s shit. The only thing that isn’t shitty is sleep.”

Unfortunately, she couldn’t just deliver her to a facility. Unless Rebecca had demonstrated she was an active danger to herself or others, she would need to consent.

Yep, the percussion is pretty much exactly Be My Baby. The Brazil song is basically Girl from Ipanema.

Rachel Bloom said it herself on twitter : “Naomi’s whole motivation is survival. Survive no matter what.”

The most important line(until now) that Naomi has had was this, in answer to Rebecca’s “Don’t you want me to be happy?”:

I spent a while trying to figure out which song “Maybe She’s Not Such A Heinous Bitch After All” was insistently reminding me of. I think it’s “Be My Baby” by the Ronettes.
