I’m sick and tired of older, established actresses stealing parts from the next generation. How are we ever supposed to develop new stars if all the best roles are going to actresses over 40?

I think the point is more that, if an LGBTQ character’s sexuality isn’t — er... substantiated — in some way, it does nothing to help the issue of representation.

I used to watch Benson all the time back when it was on, and saw Soap when it hit Nick at Night some time later. Guillaume clearly just owned the role. 89 is a hell of a good run, though.

Yeah I was particularly psyched by the scenes in the trailer where they mix up the characters from the different age groups—Dustin with Steve, Hop throwing Nancy a gun, Joyce interacting with the other kids as well as hers.

Last year, Stranger Things was exactly what I needed as a late summer pick me up. (I know it came out earlier in the summer, I just didn’t get to until later.) I’ve always been a little wary of the treating the second season as sequel thing. Most to the sequels that the Duffer Brothers mention looking towards didn’t…
