I have had depression and anxiety for a long time as well. This was a hard yet very open episode. I’m glad I caught Rachel Bloom’s Twitter post saying that it was really heavy, or something to that effect, before I watched it so I was at least kind of prepared for the culmination - basically expecting an episode right

Nice! I like this idea. I mean, it is very X-Men to have Brenner reappear with one or more other kids with supernatural powers, but just the idea of an adversarial Twelve is very good.

Would he, though?

Wow. He must be fun at parties.

Maybe the next gift for you will be a membership to Stuntman Boot Camp!

Yeah. It doesn’t seem like the showrunners really grasp the extent of those traits but maybe they will play out more. The fight with Lucas in s1 was stupid but in the end good for both the characters’ development.

Let’s see...I am birthday pals with Nostradamus, Tycho Brahe, Shirley Jackson, George VI, Patty Duke, and Vanessa Hudgens.

I am really glad to see how great Noah Schnapp can be as Will.

Agreed. I’d like some queer representation in this show, but I’m not set on it being Billy for those exact reasons. Sure, some 80s fads did stem from queer culture but most people were oblivious to that. Or, like in my case, too young or sheltered to pick up on homoerotic moments. No one was out in the small town I

Thank you for sharing your comments - seriously. It’s been since s3 that I watched the show regularly, have seen stray bits here and there, but I like following along with recaps and comments just to know what’s going on and keep up somewhat with the chat around the show and also how they’re doing the story. And

I’m pretty sure it was Nathaniel who dubbed Josh a “human flip-flop.” It was that ep when Josh and Rebecca were going to go to Raging Waters and she had to stop into the office on the way. And Josh changed the water cooler bottle.

I laughed so loudly and suddenly I startled my cat. And probably neighbors.

I sure didn’t. Though mostly when I was old enough to notice it was more a late 80s hair band version.

I don’t think it’s unique to Michigan at all. People only need to look at voting maps to see that. And I’ve lived in several other states where that was really obviously the case at a glance.

Agreed. It’s been bad enough how much time and space news outlets dedicated to this.

Just as horrifying.

Old Man Rock is my favorite radio station.

I don’t know if they’re still there, but several years back driving through rural Michigan, I saw a barn with something like, “Kid Rock Please Help Us” painted on the roof. It wasn’t the only place with a message like that I saw. (I live in MI now, a very blue part.)

Instantly great episode. I love this show but a lot of the time the individual episodes grow on me from thinking they were pretty okay to loving them.

“Where should we finish?”
