We landed on a comet but my doctor's office takes all frakking week to manage to get a sort-of correct prescription to my pharmacy. Cartoons are therapeutic.

Yeah, I know Chastain specifically talked about Marvel, and Ivy's DC, but, well, it'd still be cool. I'd also be super excited if she could play Kate Kane/Batwoman. But they'd really have to get an entirely different team working on their movies for that to turn out well.
A Runaways movie would be great, though I'd also take it in the form of a tv series. I don't know if the CW would add a Marvel property since they have the two DC-related shows currently going, but it would probably be an easy sell to/for that network (or almost any other): young cast, built-in serial storytelling,…
Poison Ivy could lead a movie, maybe a story with tie-ins to Black Orchid and The Green/Swamp Thing. Not Ivy as a kiss-blowing villain, but her antihero angle. She's smart and tough, gorgeous, has a number of rich backstories to choose from (the writers could make her childhood as traumatizing as they want). A…
Nice catch. I'd love to get that pinned down (pun semi-intended), find out if it is meant to be a particular portrait. It could be a fancy helmet, but looks to me like there's a hair parting, so maybe not. Maybe it's supposed to be herself?
NICE. Will try to remember that one.
So is Katrina like a less-useful version of Cordelia (on Angel) and Deanna Troi or what? Visions! Creepy pregnancy! Either super useful or super vague!
I really liked that they kept referring to the succubus as "it" rather than "she/her" - seriously, if you call your other generic(ish) demons "it" and then maintain that with the sexy-woman default disguised succubus - that is careful writing. It was a great detail that lept out at me.
I was having those same confusing, shifting feelings while watching this episode. I think Hawley's time with Ichabod, and generally having his douche-nozzle turned down helped. I have no problem with him as a character going to mack on another woman when Abbie turned him down. It didn't feel like he was trying to make…
Clever. Almost too clever!
Never heard of this or anything like it. Does remind me of my favorite joke, which has gotten snippy people truly annoyed with me.
This one's probably better.
The line about a hug being a way to hude your face sounded weirdly familiar to me but I can't pin it down.
I'd take an army as well. But they wouldn't get far before the cat tears them up and sits on them, squishing the poor paper bastards into oblivion.
Now I will think of it that way, too. Snickering right now. Godammit. Thank you?
You know nothing, Jon Mayonnaise.
For me, it's Pam in any shape, because Pam got crazy awesome once they settled into writing her (and other secondary characters) in a more consistent and well-rounded way.
RON MAN - That's my favorite, though "O Bother" is very inspired.
