Ignore for a moment that Dawn and Andrea are a couple. The biological mother and father both have rights, which is traditional. But this says that the ex-wife, who has no biological connection, no adoption, and no surrogacy contract, also has rights. Not in lieu of one of those parties but in addition to them.

What is happening is that the judge awarded Dawn shared custody rights even though she is not biologically related to the child, who is biologically Michael and Andrea’s child. Michael was fighting Dawn having shared custody rights because, if Dawn did not have shared custody, he would only have to share custody 50/50…

If I’m not mistaken, the replacing of the US attorneys you are referring to didn’t occur until their replacements were in place. This slaps as an attack against the judiciary. It’s the manner in which it was done that is so egregious.
