I downloaded it when it was the free PSN game about a year ago. And I have to say, it was A LOT of fun. I almost wish I could go back and buy it full price just to support the studio. Don’t mistake me, the game wasn’t perfect, but I really liked what it was trying to do, and fighting the hoards, alone, was almost

From what I’ve read, it’s a bit too cut-and-paste from Dead Space, and the game is maybe 8-10 hours long. Not sure I can justify $70 on that.

I like(d) Trevor Noah. But I don’t think he was remotely up to the task of filling the shoes of Jon Stewart after he left. But to be fair, I don’t think anyone was in that position to helm the mantle after Stewart’s departure. They tried to replace Joe Montana with Blaine Gabbert, when they really should have gone

You can’t even trust a random blueberry in the Vanguard playlist Corrupted strike to pass the orb to break the shields of Sedia and the elevator minibosses.

Raids and dungeons should absolutely not have matchmaking. Maybe if we had a built-in LFG system that let us establish requirements the way the companion app does. There are still too many things the average player struggles with. And no way should matchmaking a raid be a thing when many people just refuse to use

That’s me, too. And it’s sort of a shame. But with kids of my own, I really don’t see how the higher ups at Comcast ever reasonably saw that this would work. My kids wouldn’t watch “traditional” TV for a videogame show. They just go directly to the content creators on Youtube and watch exactly what they want, when

My guess is hosting anime at this point is a really, really hard door to get through, because of how massive Crunchyroll is right now. Bought by Sony (a Japanese company) for over $1 billion, my guess is everything releated to exporting anime oversees gets some sort of first-look by Sony/Crunchyroll.

I’m suddenly convinced the “retiring” of the Choco Taco was nothing but a PR move to sell more Choco Tacos to “save” the brand.

My biggest problem with Bungie has always been their inability to create systems and do a basic forecast on how this system will impact the average player 3 months or 3 years down the road.

The only time I care about a shader on my gun is when I’m inspecting it in my inventory. Ornaments are the only thing I really care about with exotic weapons, because they actually change the barrel and sights (like the Arbalest one for sale this week).

I think on the flip side, crafting is meant to be complementary to the grind, it doesn’t have to be the grind. I do think, however, they got crafting backwards. We should always be able to craft, and then crafting almost turns into the D1 method of leveling up armor. We use our crafted gun to “level” it up, and then

So a guy impersonates Bungie to get a ton of DMCA strikes against other content creators, and somehow Bungie is the villain here? I’m really not seeing that connection.

Everyone is going to make their spaceship look like a dong. And it’s going to fall into the pantheon of Bethesda games that I start and never finish.

Yeah ... and?

If a game sells, it sells. Just because RandomInternetGuy has some mega appreciation for a game with middling sales figures from 20+ years ago doesn’t mean it’s ever going to get a remake.

TLOU’s multiplayer experience was pretty awesome. I would definitely play it.

Doing a cursory search, it looks like LoD sold about 1.3 million copies over time. The Last of Us sold 1.3 million copies in ... seven days, and eventually sold north of 17 million copies between the PS3 and PS4.

Consideriing the TLOU show is coming to HBO (likely) by the end of this year or by spring 2023, I could see a huge market for this. Much like how Game of Thrones skyrocketed the ASOIAF book sales.

The best way to eat a grapefruit is to cut it in slices and use it as garnish on a margarita, preferably one with tequila infused with jalapeno or habanero.

Why are you holding onto red border weapons? Trash them, unless your Neutral element stockpile isn’t full. I don’t see a way that we suddenly hit a red border desert. Bungie wants us interacting with the crafting mechanic. Unless a serious bug comes about (which Bungie has been really quick on fixing ... like the GM
