I don’t know how anyone can believe that those locations are gone forever. The reintroduction of part of the Cosmodrome, with the full location gradually releasing over the next two or three seasons is proof in the pudding.

I wish this event would have been more like 24 hours, because the timing of this definitely excluded a significant portion of the playerbase from participating in it.

It’s crystal. And it’s theorized that the three main elemental forces are based off of Nuclear forces. Solar being the strong nuclear force (like fusion). Arc is the electromagnetic force (like, for obvious reasons), and Void is gravity (notice how some void abilities involve vortexes, and drawing player movement in?)

What are you not clear on, story wise? Yes, I’ll be the first to say that Bungie puts way too much of their story in the lore and in 3rd party sites, and infodumps on message boards. But there is an insanely fleshed out story, you just have to do a little digging to discover it all.

Let’s just see how this legal fight actually goes. I have a feeling many of them will just be tossed out. Or December 14 when the electors meet and vote.

I used to have to do this all the time. With my old cable provider and a slower connection, I had the router and modem across the room, so it was more central to the rest of my house. So I constantly played some games over WiFi, but would then drag my 20-foot ethernet cable across the floor and plug it in if I were

I think it’s hard to compare the “sub models” because they’re ENTIRELY different, capability-wise. The $300 Xbox is cheaper in almost every way. It’s a good intro model, or a good second Xbox for a family that games together, whereas the PS5 digital is everything the disc version has, just minus the drive.

At least he wasn’t asked if a hot dog is a sandwich.

Sounds interesting. It would be entirely helpful if you actually told us what platforms this game was available on. Kotaku has a habit of teasing interesting games, and then not telling us how we can actually play it.

I love hot sauce and spicy food, and I have a pretty good tolerance for the hot stuff.

Fair point, and I can understand what you mean. I think they’re just incredibly consistent. Then I get 99% Invisible, which I really love ... but sometimes I get an episode I just find totally boring.

Jason Mantzoukas is a goddamn national treasure.

This is the episode:

If you haven’t yet reached it in the backlog, their Pizzagate episode is pretty fantastic.

This is, consistently, one of the best podcasts out there. They’ve done some really fantastic stuff. Microdosing LSD, the Today’s The Day episode. The one about the cell phone black hole outside of Atlanta(?)

They don’t know what to do with Ikora, because this problem of her near absence from the game goes back nearly two years.

It unfortunately showed this season during the story mission that had Eris and Zavala together at the Tree of Silver Wings (the second or third-to-last story/lore mission). Their interaction sounded stilted ... as if the lines were literally recorded at two completely different times and not as a continuous string of

If you haven’t seen it, Lance Reddick is in Bosch on Amazon. He plays a character who McNulty would likely call “good police.”

Reading it to my kids. Yes, fully aware of Rowling’s recent unpopularity due to some of her beliefs. But she had friends who read it, and she’s not quite at an age where I could sit her down and explain the situation in a way she could easily understand.

Alton Brown’s The Chewy. It’s not even a contest for me.
