Really easy for me. Going to the Barbie preview screening on the 19th as Oppenheimer and as Ken for the Oppenheimer premiere on the 20th.

Okay, now this is a vintage AVC quality review. Thank you for keeping this site afloat.

I agree. This was a STELLAR episode. Just loved how sweet it was post the first two kind of bitter openers this season.

Everything else aside, why do they rap over a sample with the vocals slightly turned down? Sounds like a poor DJ desicion.

Loved: Life Aquatic (by far his best), GBH, Darjeeling

Every new WA post moonrise kingdom, follows the same pattern for me: I’m initially let down on first viewing only for it to coalesce and and click for me on subsequent viewings. Only exceptions to this has been Isle of Dogs (still not great on repeats) and ironically MK which I loved at first viewing, but fell short

That’s the joke. It wasn’t reshot, it was ADRd. The gifs are the same.

I’m not watching the video, but if it isn’t the Hamm bone I’ll be disappointed

Brave being “great” is a brave take.

Counterpoint: Keep making (good) 3D movies now that they won’t suck watching them at home anymore with the Apple Vision Pro.

Nothing pedantic about it. It’s not a peripheral, it’s a computer. Maybe just accept being wrong?

Not a peripheral

You’re the one who believes this is a VR headset my friend.

Literally a computer, not a peripheral.

They see your face in real time mapped to a 3D model. In the future they’ll also see your hands.

It’s spatial computing - which is a perfect term for it. It has elements of XR/VR/AR sure, but the sum of the whole is so much more.

No it isn’t. And yes it is.

It’s not a VR headset
