Shows take a while to find it’s groove. It’s not necessarily always the show’s fault, but it just takes a while for the viewer to get to know the characters and the rhythms of the show. Shrinking seems to have found its footing far quicker than most comedy shows which usually requires a season or more to settle in.

Calling it. This is going to be a fun one.

Good honeypot to dismiss a bunch of transphobe greys too.

Pretty sure in this case they just trusted whomever else was in the know to get that, because why else mention the bit part actor’s name?

“standard Zombie story fare, done well.” sums up how I feel about the show as a whole thus far, (and what I initially thought during the first episode as well).

Okay but did you need to comment this 5-7 times over?

Well part of the point about code is to be consistent so you don’t slip when there are people around.

Did you uhh...not watch last week’s episode?

If only there were some part of the article that mentioned that, maybe even in the first paragraph.

Where the fuck did all these scumbags come from? Is 8kun down today or something?

“The BBC is laughably left wing.” Spoken like a true USian.

For people that can’t be bothered copy-pasting the url:

Resize the window, or as I do, right click and inspect (having the inspector pane on the right side).

While I like this animation style, I think what the world is ready for is a new Henson style live action TMNT movie.

From now on any animation crossover gag should be punctuated by Mr. Peanutbutter’s “What is this, a crossover episode?”

Username checks out

I believe the backlash from Season 2 was that they wanted more of the warm hug Season 1 gave them during peak pandemic, and wasn’t ready for the Empire Strikes Back vibes they were clearly aiming for.

I thought it was pretty clear that this is a Dramedy. Not sure why the reviewer is trying to force it through a sitcom lens.

Reviewer is not watching the same show the rest of us are. *insert lament at the steep decline in quality of writing here*

This just here. If anything it’s too realistic in how it portrays how hard it is to break free of patterns of behaviour, self-destructive or otherwise. I’m not on board at all with the complaints that the characters don’t change enough. That’s real.
