The quality or content of the film is not the issue here, and completely unimportant.
I don't think its styling has improved with age. It's still pretty ugly to me, at least as 5-Series models go. And it gets worse with the Sport package and M models. There are so many details about it that just aren't graceful, crisp, or clean.
