What happened in Urumqi, Xinjiang, was not an earthquake but a fire inside an apartment in a building that had been locked down. Ten people died, and a couple of dozen were injured.

This.
I truly have no idea. Is there another successful director who delivers blockbusters and top box office who gets this treatment? Michael Bay? Spielberg? Scott? Every one of the above has had failures or directed meh movies... Is the hate even worse on Reddit? No idea, really.
Same here, in IMAX 3D, a whopping $36. And I’ve only seen Top Gun Maverick and Dr Strange 2 in the cinemas this year. Looking forward to Mr Cameron’s latest.
I have the same questions. Also, people seem to forget movies are a business, so sequels to financially successful releases are a must.
Question: Why does Disney and every movie studio invest in moviemaking?
For a kids’ cartoon, there sure is a lot of killing, just no blood.
It has Josh Gad, which is definitely not a a plus.
Using China as a guaranteed potential profit source is not gonna work, especially if China changes its mind when the movie is finally released and is banned in China. See Top Gun Maverick, Shang-Chi, The Eternals and Wakanda Forever.
I don’t particularly mind the attitude and the stuttering, but I didn’t buy that it needed a huge charging pad, when we’ve seen astromechs recharge using a cable and charging port. And also, really not buying the whole this show is magnificent and a masterpiece praise...
Come January, Andor will not win a single CCA. Sure, it was good for a Star Wars show, but it sure wasn’t a masterpiece. House of the Dragons was better, and Severance was even better.
And every nerdy troll: Where can I watch Ferngully? I missed that one.
I saw Glory when it was first released, twice in one week. What an amazing movie. Amazing score too.
There is a 3-part documentary, hosted/narrated by Kevin Costner, called Yellowstone 150. It’s not about the show, but about the park. I haven’t seen it.
White Lotus: Japan, shot in Hawaii or Vancouver?
I watched 18 of these shows. Some were good; others not so much. Some were overrated. Here’s hoping 2023 has a long list too of good shows too.
Can’t help but wonder what the overrated QT has to say about Superman The Movie and other pre-MCU comic book superhero movies...
I remember Cinemax, even if the new top brass don’t.
More Aubrey Plaza, please, but if I watch to watch an MCU show about a character I don’t give a f*ck about, then... maybe pass.
Still, pre-internet 1987, so I truly doubt most viewers knew.
