This being the Beijing Winter Olympics, they will disqualify everyone who’s not Chinese, because if you can’t beat them, disqualify them.

Yay! Might as well greenlight five or more seasons, because this show was well done and had zero filler episodes, a rarity these days. I’m recommending it to all my friends.

And to ensure nothing bad happens to her family. “Collaborate or they die.”

Jeff, super, super cool... but... what’s that smell, dude?

Nope, Holmes is on her own league of nuttiness.

Dead Batman’s son doing Batman stuff. Oh, c’mon, it’s like James Bond Jr is a  teenage spy because MI6 hires teenagers for secret agent missions. Bullshit.

Only if you’re okay with fart jokes and the childish subplots.

Yep. Add the masts after it’s past the bridge.

Then they should build the damn thing in a landlocked location, and then dig a canal to move it to the sea. Lots of jobs for civil engineers and excavator crews too.

I’m five episodes in, and am glad this is out. No filler episodes, no extra crap. Well done.

That sounds like “benevolent dictatorship”, which only benefits those at the top and is still a bullshit system. Hey, be glad you get wi-fi and smartphones!

Movie set for movies/tv shows? Greenscreen on the windows.

Chinese billionaires? How many of those will still exist when if this thing ever becomes operational? China is cracking down on excessive wealth already. It’s as if their dictators suddenly realized that Communism is a thing they have ignored for seven decades already, and extreme wealth gap might cause popular revolut

Chinese developer: We have an architect; we don’t need civil engineers! Go ahead and build it.

Nope. The building had no foundations. Ask any civil engineer how foundations work. Saving on piledrivers and taking shortcuts, standard modus operandi of new Chinese companies, is what caused those buildings to fall. Luckily they weren’t occupied yet. The entire development had to be demolished.

That second photo is of a brand new development outside of Shanghai that had a few towers collapse because its foundations were NEVER done the way civil engineers have been doing foundations for decades and decades.

1. If you would never ever consider buying a car made in China, why would you think this thing will pass international safety inspections?
