Finally saw this over the Christmas weekend. What a cast! What a shitty movie.

Sure it matters to studios distribution divisions, to cinema owners, and to people who get pissed off whenever Avatar rises to the top of box office earners.
The mid-credits extra scene was ridiculous for people who don’t care much for musicals, like myself. Spielberg made a version of West Side Story? Like I’m gonna watch that, said I and many millions of moviegoers.
Had there been no pandemic, NWH would have broken so many records, despite being just better than mediocre.
Justified was oh so good. I miss that show.
The Son was very good. Was it cancelled? Production affected by COVID?
The rebooted Walker is so bad; it’s all about family and not at all about being a Ranger. I gave up once they figured who killed his wife.
Exactly what my son screamed at the TV when it happened,
Blue Bloods is about a family of cops with the patriarch (Tom Selleck) being the Commissioner of Police in NYC. The daughter is an assistant DA. Every episode has a lesson to teach, and family is everything. Sometimes predictable but the good cast makes it very watchable and it’s been on air for twelve seasons. I…
Longmire was a great show. Never boring. Robert Taylor was so good in it.
That is a good comparison. Dallas set in Montana with wide open spaces and without the fashion of the late 70s.
Yep. FBI International shouldn’t be renewed; it’s bad. Why are people watching it?
I watch seven of those on that list, but then again, I’m a creature of habit. I can’t say all of them are good/great, but different strokes and all...
Yellowstone is prestige drama for those who don’t watch prestige dramas?
Pennyworth is very watchable and the Batman connection, while there, is irrelevant. Plus great theme music.
Dysfunctional families and/or families with very black sheep? Always good for stories.
Exact comparison. I’m a fan of both Billions and Succession despite my intense dislike of extremely rich people. It’s well-written drama. Yellowstone does the same but in a somewhat smaller scale, and I’ve always been a fan of Westerns, a supposedly dead genre. 1883 has begun well, BTW, and I’m glad shows like this…
Thanks. I know that now. Still I doubt Kingpin is really gone.
Thank you for the info. And after Googling, I now know “Echo” is what she does: photographic reflexes. Huh.
So how many Aussie folks phoning while driving have been charged and/or arrested? I’m curious. I live in Hong Kong, where this is also illegal, but you see it done all the time anyway.
