Just watched the first two episodes and I'm digging it so far, despite the tepid season review. I do sort of wish it was as heightened in its lunacy as Better off Ted was, but I can see why that would make the stakes hard to care about. Still, in many of the performances and much of the direction, I wish they could go

What are the odds that they're working on a show called "That's My Trump" in which the portray the worst, most damaging president and administration the US has had so far as a lovable buffoonish sitcom family?

Even if she weren't married and I were her preferred gender I'd still not be her type—she seems to be a (shudder) morning person.

Agreed, but that level was behind me at that point.

"If it helps, remember that it’s just a game and the worst case scenario is you may have to replay a room again."

"Siri, where are my AirPods?"
""The AirPods were within you the whole time."
"Ohhh," (has metaphysical breakthrough)
"I mean you swallowed them, dicknuts."

That's too bad, the scene were Carol meets the guy with the tiger is one of the best scenes the show has aired in a long while.

That movie was called "Suicide Squad."

Though there's no way President Trump will approve a space station whose function is to observe caterpillars in zero gravity. Or maybe he will, there's no knowing what Commander Cuckoo Bananas will do.

My favorite character is "Dead Passive-Aggressive Sign-Painting Guy" who went so far as to draw a middle finger for anyone capable enough to loot his houseboat. I hope the next spin-off focuses on him.

The only act on that list that I listen to deliberately is the xx and even I thought the only good act this season was a Tribe Called Quest.

Same here. It's the curse of watching too many Whedon shows; the moment a character is happy or looks to the future I know they're toast by the end of the episode.

I think that the director was disappointed to lose the scene where Killer Croc vomits up a half-digested goat on a helicopter and eats it again, so he added in a scene that was slightly more disgusting.

And this movie better include "it's just the gas," which was sorely missing from the last one.

Just a couple of weeks ago I was discussing with a friend whether Ford and Arnold formulated host blood to be easier to clean. Good to know I'm not the only one.

FAKE SPOILER: It turns out Negan's full name is Rick R. Negan, with the R standing for Rick. Also, Lucille's name was Rick before she had the barbed wire wrapped around her.

I did wonder in the previous episode why so few people thought to say "if you take away my guns, the possibility of my producing for you/us surviving as a community to produce for you/me finding Daryl's chopper drops to nil," but in the end the pile of burned mattresses showed that it was a hazing for a new client

Something I thought was great about this episode is that every time she fired off a quip, or connected to Cyndie on a deep level, I was reminded that she just doesn't know anything yet. She doesn't know about Denise, or the full extent of the Saviors, or Glenn and Abraham. It made her humor a little tragic because she

There was one specific moment (I think on the bridge) that she ran for cover and I felt sympathetic pain in my chest for her (and I'm a dude).

And best regards to you as well! I'm a creative director when I'm not posting on AV Club, so I really appreciate smart conceptual illustration when I find it. It just occurs to me now that the two posters I like most were also the least literal depictions of the events of the show!
