Dinan E39 M5 S2. 470 HP, 202 mph with a stock 3.15 differential.

I have a salesman I always go to when I see a car I like. We negotiate the price over the phone before I come in, then when I get there all I have to worry about is looking at the car to make sure everything is kosher. Problem is the finance guy always try to take a long time with the paperwork. I bring my

A lot? I think you're overestemating the number of CTS-Vs Caddy's going to sell.

With the limiter turned off they do over 200, on the dyno the M5 puts over 600hp to the ground, and the best part, they haven't been recalled a dozen times yet.

I think it's a great thing, there's only so much power they can get out of RWD, gotta keep up with AMGs and rabid P85D's somehow....

You deserve more upvotes. Please educate these armchair quarterbacks.

As an engineer, I really appreciate the work that went into this. Also as an engineer, I would want to shoot the marketing guy that said "we need to show this to the public, NOW!" 9 years ago. I hardly knew that Ford was making another GT and now I find out they will RACE IT THIS YEAR. Also, that same company that

Cool cool. I saw this 4 years ago. I'm going to go look at the Ford GT now.

After seeing the Ford GT as well as seeing the price of the NSX, why am I underwhelmed? Honda/Acura really missed the boat on this one. It would have been a hit several years ago, but not now.

Here's what we know so far: that wonderful flat plane crank V8 with at least 500 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque; Ford's first ever magnetic ride suspension; 130 pounds lighter than the GT350; and no air conditioning or a rear seat.

The GT wont be at Detroit. So its going to be the GT350.

For a short time I worked as a writer for the world wide leader and I was one of thousands who wrote for the website. I met Scott only twice by chance more than anything as I wasn't ever based in Bristol, or even a blip on the radar in the scheme of things, but at one of those events Scott turned to someone and said

There's a great comment on that vid:

Jesus this guy's voice betrays an utter lack of personality, I'm guessing he's a dentist.

It's not how fast you can go - it's how little you slow down.

The video would have been much better without his commentary. I can read the data and watch the screen, I want to hear the sounds, not his voice!

1. Take out the engine and other useful stuff.

Sweet car. I've always wanted a C5-Z06. Black isn't for me though; I'll take Electron Blue Metallic preferably (which as I recall is a 2002+ color).

Finally, one car in this series you got right.

The C5 Z06 was most certainly a 12 second car.
