Lol typo yes. But thank you.

Yes, in Big Little Lies (and perhaps elsewhere?)

The Grease Megamix was a big hit here in Canada around that time—and played a lot in the (admittedly gay) dance club….

Walt's fave song!

He also has had a lot of critical praise for his tage work.

Were they meant to do the score for the planned Grease 3 (AND Grease 4 AND a TV series—good god)

Was he closeted? I think I missed that lol

Was he Frederick? He has aged well… Around the time of Grease 2 he was nude in an off-Broadway show with Jessica Tandy…

Not quite—it was not on the West End, and was not a commercial production—more like a semi staged fan event that I believe was even crowd funded…

She's… adequate. I think she did her own singing in Prince of Egypt and she apparently trained for ages back when she was set to do Oliver Stone's Evita (there are some leaked audio demos).

I have no idea how the people behind The Secret of NIMH could have made A Troll in Central Park…

Wait which James Dean films have him being a bad boy who turns good at the end? Or does J.D. mean something else? The original Grease was largely meant to be (fairly soft) satire—although I sometimes wonder if the film was aware of that.

WHich is just one reason why it's brilliant! I love how no one thinks to go and see if she needs help…

I saw Zmed in a tour of the overblown Tommy Tune revival of Grease in the 90s… lol

Yeah, I saw it long before Grease, simply because it was constantly on tv.

Nonsense—the dream sequence is the highlight!

Increasingly, as they cut back their TV coverage, AVClub seems to be hedging their bets on some pretty awful shows and ignoring some great ones (though I've not seen Claws).

We know that The Eye only wants to do harm (Melanie says something like that earlier)—rape would be a part of that. But his threats which started sexual then began to sound like he literally was planning to eat her, so I kinda just think he's will to do do anything harmful…

I can see your point—but then I think about it, and isn't it all information that the protagonist *does* know? I did want a moment of him being sad to find out King was a parasite… (and surely this means that the Angry Little Boy book wasn't actually read by his father? )
