@lespey: I think google checkout is secure but they're still getting a lot of information from you if you submit that way... and if they decide not to send it, most people will probably forget about the $3 rather than go through the trouble of contacting Google Checkout to get their $$ back.

@Igor Neumann: there are no more unicorns, I barbecued the last one this 4th of July weekend.

did anybody else notice that the "VeriSign" security seal logo isn't a clickable link to verify it?

@DoctorEcks: they'll probably have to have "Will it blend" combine with "Mythbusters" to find some desolate area they can put another crater in.

@Robert 'K-M' Alicea: like people breaking stuff on youtube, and the whole legacy that drives AFV.

@dennis636223: I named my wireless network "hackers delight" and I keep track of what decides to attach to it and what they try to do. If I'm going to use my connection for anything I need to keep private (or want all my bandwidth for) than I'll turn the wireless off, my only wireless devices are my wife's phone and

my question is, how are we suppose to see radiation/photons created back then? If it were so near the big bang then wouldn't all those photons have passed us already and be traveling away from us? Unless they bounced off something and are on their way back, we shouldn't really be seeing that.

@Stem_Sell: Believe me, $179 wasn't enough to cover a fraction of that type of eye injury even 20 years ago.

@Super Gizmodoman: true. if the aliens are like me and only have one eye, they'd get pretty ticked off.

point it at the moon and see if you can find the spot with a high powered telescope.

I think the only situation this would work in would be if it were being used by a vacationer that doesn't actually take many pictures. Any real photographer goes through batteries like kids go through fruit snacks, and it's only going to work if you're shooting outside rather than in a studio.

without the images I just keep thinking this article has something to do with paint chips and flatulence, especially the part about the sonic booms.

@drsquirrel: pain and eye care are pretty equal when it comes to complexity, ophthalmologists go through the exact same medical school as an ER doctor, brain surgeon, family practitioner and psychiatrist. Optometrists also have 4 years post graduate school, just like doctors and dentists.

@esarphie: I highly doubt it'll do anything negative, and there's such a natural wiring in your brain to differentiate between focus and binocular depth perception. One of the ways people can tell if their young children have severe hyperopia is because they will go crosseyed while trying to focus on something in
