For sure. It's an uncertainty that we don't usually see from the writers, which is why it's especially jarring.

Hats off to ya, then. It's greatly appreciated. I finished my P&R rewatch today, and it's always a little disappointing when you get to a double header (especially to the exceptional seventh season) and you're going through old AV Club reviews and the discussions are compiled into one post.

I realize from that last note that two separate reviews for these episodes were likely accidental, but it's really appreciated since there's so much more to unpack in two episodes of an hour-long musical comedy than there would be in, say, a half hour sitcom.

I thought I read something a long those lines, but based off of this episode I wasn't sure. Because "Jane" is perfectly fine I just want them to do more

Was in love with Luisa and Rogelio's Meisner exercises. As someone who recently discovered it in an acting class, it really helps a lot with tumultuous emotions.

I really hope the show plays with the title some more through the rest of its run. Both JTV and Crazy Ex Girlfriend walk the fine line of having rather antiquated, slightly misogynistic titles, but both also reclaim the power in using these terms because of how they tell their story. Like maybe each episode cross out

I wasn't aware that it had submitted as a drama? I thought that it had successfully gotten switched from drama to comedy. Either way, she deserves to be at least nominated in either category. Tatiana absolutely deserved it, but it's getting quite tiring seeing a good performer like Julia Louis Dreyfus win for a show

I think that primary on that list is anxiety, though I'm sure that could be lumped into a couple of the specific disorders you mentioned. Part of why I'm so emotionally invested in this show is that I binged it on Netflix at the same time that I was coming to grips with how the emotional deprivation that a recent love

Rachel Bloom's line delivery of "I'm going to go fall in love at the Olive Garden" was so fucking good I need her to get the Emmy she was robbed of ASAP.

Damn, for whatever reason, my DVR didn't record this last night so I missed out on the conversation. This show is so astutely wonderful, I don't even want to consider it not getting Schur's proposed five seasons. It's been a while since a show has made me ugly laugh as much as the Nixon tapes karaoke or Bad Janet made

Probably my biggest problem with this episode was the pacing of the overall narrative. In true AHS form, too many people bite it at once, lowering the suspense from here on out, and not giving some characters the proper time to shine: for instance, Agnes dying already seems like a wasted opportunity.

The thing is, for me, I can't give a show an A+ it would have gotten if it had done it the way it should have been done. But instead, they drug out about 30 minutes of material into two and a half hours of screen time set apart by six months (and 25 unnecessary minutes into this premiere). Regardless of all of the

I've seen so much talk from people about "oh, this episode was so good, great performances, Emmy-worthy, amazing blah blah blah." But this was an episode that should have happened six months ago. There is no reason why two hours of this show have been devoted to what is essentially one scene. The scene was done well,

Really, though. The most underrated actress on the show, and it's been so good having her back full time again, I'd love to see her make it out finally. She's the anti-Sarah Paulson-where Sarah pretty much always lives, Lily always dies. Whatever keeps Lily on the show as long as possible.

I thought the same thing, but there doesn't seem to be a lot to gain from a narrative standpoint to have the actress of Shleby be the sole survivor. I'm hoping it's Lily Rabe that survives as a sort of "welcome back full time, Lily, don't ever leave again" present, and because the only season in which her character

The whole "only one person survives" thing is so dumb in the grand scheme of things, but I am still so into it. Which I think is the point. It's an awful, awful horror trope but amplified to the silly reality show level, you get really invested. Plus, I'm just ecstatic to see Lily Rabe getting to do something beyond

I got home from rehearsals and my heart skipped a beat when I realized it was 9:15 and Jane was recording. This episode was so good, and I particularly enjoyed your analysis of the scene in which Jane discusses her and Michael's "future," because I wept like a baby throughout the whole scene. I think everyone could

Chad stumbled just from having the wins kind of handed to her. That awful prank show bull shit, winning the girl group challenge just because they were the safest option, and winning the super hero challenge barely. The whole team thing really ruined any sort of impact the wins could have, but still-they were just

See here's the thing though-people are going to be bitter forever about Alyssa and Tatianna unfairly being eliminated-sure, I get that. In a regular season, they would have made it a little farther. BUT, at the end of the day, does it really matter when they were sent home? Both Alyssa and Tatianna proved what they

Also, did anyone else see the screen caps of Wikipedia shortly after tonight's ep? It was pretty hilarious. I've got the screen caps on my twitter @EricHD97 if anyone didn't see them (shameless plug for my twitter too, oops)
