More streamlined than Shaun Of The Dead and less Dramatic than The World’s End. (Both of which, are excellent) Hot Fuzz is the sweet spot. The one where every piece fit perfectly. Except for those crusty jugglers.

I’m almost a little offeneded.. partly because it’s easily one of my favorite games of all time. It’s so late-90s it hurts, but in the best way possible.
Same here. I’m like, okay.. this is actually far better than expected. Also the CNR/CNAR sounds kinda cool too.
Here’s a joke.
This just reminds me of when Alan Partridge had to trade down his Rover 800.
There’s a part of me that’s curious about new, new-Top Gear, but I dunno.. I mean, they got rid of the awful ginger, but will that be enough? I do like the others involved, but I can’t shake the feeling that it’s still going to be a watered down version of the last alliteration. Anyone else feeling that way? Or should…
I wouldn’t care so much (or AT ALL) if they had used a different name. Why twist the knife all the way around, again? It’s not like the Eclipse was outstanding, but it has a market and fans. Also, at this point, who even considers buying a Mitsubishi (outside of people in southeast Asia who need work trucks)?
Cool beans and best of luck with the land-hunting, I look forward to your posts!
KOSHIGAYA REPRESENT! Also thanks for the suggestions, I’ll check them out in the coming weeks!
It’s so funny you are posting about this, because I was just there yesterday! They updated and changed around the cars a bit and sadly the GT86 police car was on one of the lifts now so I couldn’t get a good shot.
I’m 26 and I absolutely adore the GT-R. And yes, FnF and Gran Turismo were a huge influence on that love. The R32 is still the one I truly want, but I appreciate the R35 for what it is and would still very much like to own one.
I’m going to jump on this train too. I think it is just as funny, if not funnier, than 21 Jump Street. 28 Jump Street is where the series kinda tertered off..
It’s so frustrating, because he could have easily won everybody over by just admiting that things would be different and that he understood what Top Gear meant to people. But what did he do? Made bad jokes, ripped off gags from the old show, tried to impersonate Clarkson, and attempted to be edgy by yelling “WE GOT…
You’re absolutely right. Even though the Roadster wasn’t all that great, it was promoted and tested consistantly. They’d display models in a small booth at the NAIAS, and each year they’d do something a little different. First year, they showed the working prototype/promo videos, the next year they showed production…
Wait.. what’s Top Gear?
It’s weird, I feel like each year Toyota tries to be little more fun and I get this faint warm feeling in the back of my heart. It’s not enough though, we need more.
Is it sad that I teared up a little? I just.. missed them so much.
Ah yes, the “You can’t arrest me, my family runs a law firm” look.
I feel so dirty for liking the Maxx, but it really works. Help me.
