I thought the new seasons were 80% as good as the old ones. Not bad considering it was an all new cast. I really like Ava a lot more right now; she’s become the Amy Santiago of the group with her logic-and-filing sensibilities compared to the group’s wing-it game-plans, and it’s been a joy of a contrast.

This will give me something to do other than drinking like Rowsdower and Mitchell combined.

No, this wasn’t a great episode. But it speaks to the strength of this season that the not-great episodes are this good.

Is it just me, or does Zari have much better chemistry with Constantine than with Nate? But then again, Constantine has chemistry with EVERYBODY.

I’m never upset when either show up—usually pleased, even—but I’m always aware that it’s them.

I’m amazed they managed to make me giggle at a Superb Owl joke. Like you, Katie, I dislike them. I found them funny like, when I was younger and the Internet was “whackier,” but I can’t stand them now. But Nadja talking about its little beak? Great.

The look on Colin Robinson’s face walking into the party was all I ever need! 

Would it have killed them to have Constantine lose his coat and steal one of Castiel’s from wardrobe??

I love that song by Vella Lovell, which might be my favorite from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Heather was my favorite character. They should cast her on one of the ArrowVerse shows. Maybe she could be Zatanna 

Safe money Tala Ashe isn’t going anywhere, though which version of Zari we’ll get next season is likely TBD. I could see Behrad being resurrected as the show’s version of Osiris, which was the brother to DC Comics’ version of Isis on whom Zari is based. 

When he turned up on Silicon Valley, I could barely believe it was him. Topher was kinda the same character as he played on that show, but I’m glad to see Haley doing new stuff these days. Once a talented actor, always a talented actor.
