By taking that person out of action you have to rely on clear communication and the skill of the teammates to overcome the player deficit. But that’s why oddball and flag carriers let go of the objective to fight.

I totally disagree, but I understand that I’m probably in the minority. I don’t care if matches take a long time (as long as it’s not due to some type of griefing, bugginess, or something else unintentional). I don’t understand the obsession with having quick matches.

But then why flag the how to draw videos as well when they don’t show any footage? These were all claimed to be manually flagged and not things caught up by a bot flagging tags or similar. It doesn’t make any sense.

This isn’t from Oda/Toriyama. I doubt they would care enough to strike down a YouTube reviewer. Toei, however, is easily petty enough to flag videos for the flimsiest of reasons. Hell, they flagged anyone who posted screen caps and GIFs of their properties on Twitter a while back.

Twitch is pretty lax when it comes to copyrighted content in the moment. I suspect he thought he’d get the same treatment on Youtube, which is naive as hell.

This is my problem with the push for diversity in games.

One thing I’ll say is that at least they give you checkpoints right before every boss (and entering every EMMI Zone), in the older Metroid games you had to hope that the nearest save point isn’t too far away or else fighting the bosses over and over becomes a lot more tedious.

Totally agree. Folks getting stuck, you’ll pull through just enjoy backtracking with your new goodies! For those crying about it though, wow, it’s game my friends; take a stroll and it’ll be all right. Also Raven Beak is a straight up SOB. 

Is forcing you to explore bad game design?

This is so funny to me who has played everysingle metroid game trought my life and honestly fealt dread was pretty straightfoward,  not linear mind you but if it looked like you couldn’t do something you most definetly couldn’t until you got a new power.

I can get behind the bulk of this article, but I’d like to hit the other side of the spectrum and say that Samus’ intro cutscene with Kraid gave me huge personality vibes without a single word said.
