Gran Turismo is not professional Sim Racing level of a product - its a beautiful and compelling racing game, but there is a reason ACC and iRacing are home to actual racers and actual ‘pro’ level series - they are simply much better sims. GT7 is a great and realistic racing game. ACC and iRacing are great racing…

For me (older than gen z by a fair margin), the glut of shows on tv aimed at showing me how disgusting restaurants are, have turned me away from a lot of eating out.  Kitchen Nightmares (etc) just shined a light on things people probably didn’t want to truly know. No, it’ll always be the material that is present in working kitchens, so it will always be seen as having a proper place there. This current era of home decorating will be identified in 20-30 years, when my grandkids (if they exist) will ask me “Gramps, why is every room painted the same gray”.

I agree 100% - I also feel this way about going out for ‘Italian Food’, $22 for a piece of chicken parm and some pasta, its good and all, but its not that much better than making some spaghetti and meatballs at home, using a fancy jar of $4 sauce, with a little added red pepper and garlic.

This is one of those “If a normal human suggest it” it would just be asparagus cooked in a pan with salt / pepper, and normal. When a non-normal makes a pretty obvious suggestion, its sublime, UMAMI, or whatever.
