Aw, I actually like James Cameron, but I can't think of whom I'd put in center hell with Michael Bay instead.

"Armageddon II: We Will Ragnarok You"

When I was touring colleges a few years back, Wesleyan kept going on about its film program by citing Michael Bay and Paul Weitz.  It was pretty depressing.  Now that Joss Whedon has done "The Avengers," maybe he'll warrant a reference, too.

Yeah, I think this is my favorite thing O'Neal has ever done.

This is going to be my favorite comment for a while.

Wrong action star.

Whoa.  Whoa.  You broke my brain a little bit there.

Aw, don't him apologize for "The Rock."  That was good, solid stupid fun.  It's actually kind of depressing to think he pulled off something that fun.  Like, "damn, I keep having to defend one thing Michael Bay did."  I imagine it's like being the one guy who always appreciated how Hitler dog-sat for him.

@avclub-38d23247d87b0cf60794097048b2ca46:disqus , not as verboten as you might think — didn't you hear about this?

I love your word choice there.  "…wakes up and *realizes* she's an overweight…" Not "wakes up and has turned into" but "wakes up and realizes."

I agree about Iglesias, though I found his recent special pretty disappointing.

This was actually my first thought.

Should've stayed dead.

I always have to read "MPDG" twice before remembering what it stands for.  This time, the first thing that went through my head was "miles per damn gallon."

This is…really specific.  Have you just confessed your secret pain?  Are…are you the little brother who doesn't know anything about hair metal?

The most interesting part about this headline is the "Potentially" of "Potentially not-so-good news, everyone."  Is there a general sense that "Futurama" had overstayed its welcome?

Yeah, this is pretty inarguable.

"Futurama" has taught us that time is cyclical.

This next "accidental" series finale also seems as though it'll feel nicely final from the plot description.

And I suppose in the interests of full disclosure, my all-time favorite superhero film is probably Ang Lee's "Hulk," so you might not want me on your side here.
