My wife went to Notre Dame and I have a really hard time with the “unconditionally” part.

It (the system) did precisely what they want it to do- make people think that they are doing something. It only takes a little digging to see the truth, but by then everyone’s attention is on the next topic.

I would hazard a guess that she has little to no training in legal affairs, due process, investigations, etc. While she is Chief Judicial Officer, it appears her BS was in Art Education and her MS was in Educational Psychology. Both from Baylor, BTW!

But that’s the thing, their system did work if the initial reaction from most people was that it appeared that it worked. The dropoff in interest from the first general story to the follow-up with specific failings is dramatic- noone cares now.
